By Alyssa Jocson

It’s a big day. Some are relieved that Tax Day is moved to Monday. Some are recognizing a Day of Silence. Others are merely celebrating another Friday, perhaps still amused by Rebecca Black’s song. Today is also when the best Six-Word Memoirs of the week, below, are unveiled. More memoirs are waiting to be read; just click on each of the authors’ names.

Most Wistful: “Memoirs editable. Wish life was too.” -unmaria

Most Heartbreaking: “Can’t kiss you without tasting her.” -asslyaa (profile image, above)

Best Wordplay: “Thinner hair. Wider thighs. Thicker skin.” -Amapola, one of the most “favorited” from the SMITH community this week.

Best Sight: “Without my glasses everything looks beautiful.” -notyouraveragegrandma, with Six Words on Happiness

Most in Need of a Backstory: “He sent cash inside harlequin romances.” -Billyrat, with Six Words on Love

Most Intense Imagery: “Tried being bulletproof, shot down anyway.” -roaringsilence, from SMITHTeens
