    Arg! I hate that thin line that never seems to sweep up. I found if you sweep near tile grout it seems to disappear. Where does it go? Hmmm…

    it’s the reason I avoid sweeping up.

    To me that final line of dust (which I spread with my foot) provides continuity between the floor in it’s previous state and the floor in all it’s future states.

    I usually just move the pan so it’s perpendicular to the line, sweep it up, and repeat two or three times. The line is reduced to a small dot, which I can either accept or pick up with a rag. Buckly or bad pans make this harder, though.
