gosh, Remnant drawing Crumb drawing! warms the cockles…
Pitch-perfect! I can’t think of a better fit for the Pekarverse than Remnant’s deliciously hatchy style. Love that pensive penultimate panel.
Remnant is perfect and brings classic Splendor to mind. Yet another Pekar gem.
man, one of the best yet. i can almost HEAR that cranky voice emanating from the “page”! love it.
Holy crosshatch, Batman! Remnant + Pekar = comix joy.
This is also one of those Pekar moments that resonates with “OMG that’s so TRUE!” for me, since I’m constantly learning (or unlearning) my own misspellings, mispronunciations, and general grammar flaws.
Pekar and Remant….There’s a match made in Cleveland!
Great Stuff!
