Human interaction is my natural pick-me-upper.

Backstory

Have had to limit my commuting distance and job duties because of narcolepsy, a sleep disorder that causes excessive daytime sleepiness, sudden attacks of sleep and muscle weakness, hypnagogic and hypnopompic hallucinations, and sleep paralysis. Once a Senior Financial Analyst and Systems Administrator for several major pharmaceutical companies, most recent occupation has been a Price Accuracy Team Member for Target. Still give 100% and enjoy whatever I choose to do while seeking every opportunity to better someone's day, even if it only to point them in the right direction.

I know I have appreciated when a sales person noticed I was a little perplexed and made themselves available instead of glancing away from me when I tried making eye contact, imploring them to help me without my having to directly ask. Nothing too menial. Every kind word makes a difference and even that momentary interaction works to uplift my spirits and becomes my natural stimulant.
