Candy canes and messily written love.

Backstory

There's this absolutely adorable little four year old at work who I love working with. Today, I was at work unusually early and was able to be there when she came in, bearing Christmas gifts. While she brought some things for the adults, I was the only grader she chose to bring a gift for, a candy cane and a card (mostly written by her father) where she wrote "I love" in her own handwriting. It was honestly the cutest thing ever.

So sweet:-)

That was nice you were there to receive her gift. Children put a lot of thought and effort into making them for people they care about. That shows how special you are to her. Very sweet story.
