You only get what you give

I'm in human resources and I spend a lot of time helping people manage expectations. New grads want a lot of input and oversight, and they want someone to notice them and provide an array of opportunities and choices. The fact is, no one cares about your career as much as you do, and no one is going to reward you for showing up. But if you show up, and bring your passion, and give of yourself - you will be ready for success. You'll attract it.
