Backstory

I had just finished a 90 minute lecture on the use of photography today in the Graphic Design Practice & Theory master's class I teach each summer. The student came up and asked me what actual photography classes I teach, as she wanted to take all of them. I had to confess, that I don't teach photography. "Ok", she said, "Then tell me what other classes you DO teach, because I want to take them." I said I don't teach any other class, just this one, that's over in 3 weeks. Her face fell. She was genuinely bummed and I was touched beyond belief. Is this what I'm supposed to be doing?
