Six Word Memoirs about Work

Backstory

The same woman who was my MA thesis supervisor, and who offered me promotion to a PhD (which I declined), became my boss/colleague 15 years later. In the last two years, we've worked in two projects, and in both of them she made sure that I exploit my hungry and less visible potential. She invited me again to practice my strengths and my unused skills and offered me a stage for it (which I accepted). Now that she's not my boss anymore, she's actively thinking along with me about my next professional steps. I'm grateful for her inspiration and confidence in myself. In difficult professional/financial times like the ones I'm facing now she is my constant reminder that I can make it. We need more bosses like her. Thank you Ineke van Halsema.
