Backstory

Nurses are the tip of the spear in the medical world. We are expected to be intuitive, nurturing, efficient, endlessly tolerant and emotionally strong for patients and their family. Above all other things, we are expected to be perfect. When we make mistakes, people die. My boss understands the impossible pressures we face everyday. She stands up for us, gives us a place to vent our frustrations and laughs with us when we have a good day. She is the boss we all deserve.
