I did give that a shot actually. I decided that it is true that many people do not really notice things outside of themselves. Unfortunately they either do not understand me or simply do not care. Which I guess is a good sign that these are not the right people. So, I am taking care of myself (which I suppose is true of all of us) and hoping to find more kindness in the future.
