Backstory
This is a picture of my friend Ellen and myself. What you cannot tell from this picture is that just a month before this I believed I had no other option in life but to end it all. I was facing graduation and a great void of nothing to look forward to for the rest of my life. I felt empty and hopeless. My friends and I took a trip to the University of Texas, which I am now attending as a Freshman, over spring break exactly a year ago and it was then I found my reason for living: the love of my friends.
