Attacked. Horrified. United. Resolved. Progressed. Stronger.

Backstory

This weekend, in remembering 9/11/2001, I just think how far we've come as a nation. No, we are not a perfect union. But, we did not fragment nor back down when under attack. I don't mean this militarily (necessarily). I mean this in the way of life that those who attacked us that day hate us. I hope that this day of remembrance will lead to more unity and strength as a country without the visitation of another tragedy (like 9/11 or the attack on Gabrielle Giffords) to forcibly remind us of that which makes us Americans and one nation under God.
