I told my mother I was bisexual after three years of her not knowing. She threatened to disown me and kick me out of the house. My grandmother would not allow it. She thinks it's just a stage but I've felt this way for quite some time. :/
When I came out to my mother as a lesbian, she did in fact kick me out of her house. Everyone told me to give her time. I didn't think it would help at all, I felt I had lost my mother forever, but sure enough she came around. She still doesn't approve, and never will, but she is willing to put it aside in order to have a relationship with me. Give your mother time. Trust me
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
