jl333 says,

Take care of kids for 10+ hours a day, and you probably won't be asking this question anymore

MotorCityMich says,

I teach 30 or so of them per hour all day, every day. I still wonder.

jl333 says,

Wow!

notjustagirlintheworld says,

There are all kinds of mothers.

MotorCityMich says,

That is true, notjust, and I usually get called "mom" at least once a year. I just wonder why it wasn't in my BIG LIFE PLAN to have children of my own. I think I would have been good at it.

It doesn't bother me 24/7, but it's near my birthday and I always get reflective around then. No worries.

notjustagirlintheworld says,

me too on the birthday and the reflective...

MotorCityMich says,

It happens no matter how I try to avoid it, so I try to just roll with it and get past it.

Not such a bad thing to reflect a bit, I guess.
