They always laugh at my goals
Backstory
I often verbalized that I want to be debt free by the time I reach 50. I didn't say retire...just have the house paid off. People frequently just roll their eyes at me. don't understand why anyone would disparage such a goal! the bank where i have my mortgage has a plan where you can make your payment bi-weekly instead of once a month. somehow this cuts time off of the mortgage term. My payment is automatically deducted from my checking account, so they just deduct half of the total payment every two weeks. you might want to see if your bank offers this.
