No, can't say I remember any commercials like that...or maybe I was just too young to care. ShellDeFelice...you live out here in California...do they sell it where you are? I hate to admit my stupidity...I thought Calgons, or something similar anyway had to do with Star Trek. I don't know, I'm not a Trekkie ...the word just sounded familiar. It's funny how I'm willing to admit something so outrageously stupid here as my thinking...but thats probably because I can hide behind a screen
jl333. Don't feel bad. Those commercials were a long time ago! I haven't seen one in a long time, unless they made a comeback lately! I don't even have a TV anymore. The commercial was about this lady was having a rough day with kids screaming, crying, pots boiling over, phones ringing and she'd say, "Calgon take me away!" The next thing, she's in a tub with bubbles, looking all mellow. It never worked for me.
The kids would knock at the bathroom door, "Mommmm??"
The husband would knock, " Uh, the pots boiling over, should I do something?"
Someone would offer to bring me the phone.....
Santa Barbara is sooooo pretty! I also know a great spa at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. And one in Santa Cruz at Chaminade, up in the hills. And one in Maui at the Hyatt Regency. I'm a big spa person! Anyone see Last Holiday with Queen Latifa? Somebody win a lottery! Please! Aren't there usually six numbers in a lottery? Surely we can do this!
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
