This is based on the fact that I bought a pack of cigarettes for a homeless vet at our local train station. I had the pack of cigarettes on me, when my husband (previously a homeless veteran himself) asked about the cigarettes - I don't smoke & I am avidly against smoking. I told him that they were for the homeless veteran at the train station. My husband was beyond touched that I randomly bought this pack of cigarettes for this veteran, I just thought of it as a little bit of kindness for someone who has protected U.S. citizen's way of life and the priviledges that we take for granted.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
