Ending up comforting them, getting tired.

Backstory

Mourning is a tricky thing. I like time to sit and mourn with James who was soothing to me. I feel like he is here and calming. He never liked emotion, drama or sadness. I loved my alpha male.

It can be exhausting, no doubt...make sure you're taking care of yourself...hugs :)

you deserve comfort and time, and i do wish both of those for you. so sorry; no words are enough.

It took my 7 years and a good therapist to be able to talk about my dad without crying, the thing I hated most was feeling like I had to comfort other people to tell them I was 'alright' so they could go along their way and feel good and compassionate while I was raw and aching.

DynamicDbytheC says,

Exactly. I can't go on and on about all day. Every 5 minutes. It is nice to mourn here because I can do it a little at a time. And the emotions are behind the words not front and center.
