Hearkening back to Saturday morning cartoons.

Backstory

Back before I knew they were all just elaborately executed marketing campaigns for toys. Calvin and Hobbes with their chocolate-frosted sugar bombs, that's the perfect image for where I'm mentally time-traveling to right now. Back in the era of painstakingly parent-crafted innocence.

Personally prefer Bugs Bunny and tweety ... to each ....

illuminatrix says,

When I was a wee lad, it was Mask, Rambo, Transformers, G.I. Joe, etc. But I loved Warner Bros. too. Calvin and Hobbes came a bit later, I think, but it featured some elements that were a big part of my childhood. I wasn't as allergic to school as Calvin was. All I'm sayin' is, carefree cartoon times were awesome.
