Six Word Memoirs on Life Stories

Backstory

My boyfriend's company was holding a shindig for one of its departing team members, and my boyfriend asked me to attend with him. I think "This is a great time to meet some of his co-workers," so I agree to go. They hold the function at Mellow Mushroom, serving pizza, salad, meatballs and dessert in a buffet-style setting.

We grab our food and sit down. I don't get introduced but I interject a few comments as the conversation moves along. My boyfriend gets up and gets dessert, which are these little dough-y balls served with cinnamon and honey. They look pretty tasty.

After i finish my food, my boyfriend asks me if I want anything else to eat.

"Some of those sweet balls would be great!" popped out of my mouth before I even had time to think about it.

Anyway, I made a great impression. All had a great laugh at my expense.
