Feeling guilty for hand I'm dealt.
Backstory
My best friend from college is visiting this weekend for the first time. She was hit by a truck a few months after our graduation. Her healing process completely derailed her career path. She and her husband struggled for years and then he died last year of pancreatic cancer. She's on welfare in a tiny house. No kids. Her injuries prevented her staying in shape and is now about 300 pounds. I love this woman with all my heart. Her spirit has not been broken even though her body was.
