Interim existence morphing into permanent lifestyle.

Backstory

I was an academic librarian for almost 20 years but had to quit 7 years ago due to health reasons. Since then I've been relentlessly reinvented myself a number of times in order to cobble together a living with part-time jobs. I have yet to find the same kind of joy and fulfillment I did when working as a librarian.

It's been over a year since I've been gainfully employed and what I thought was a temporary situation is becoming my way of life. For the time being, I'll continue to stagger on into unfamiliar territory.

I think that's what they call the new normal...but I was never sure what the old normal was so best not to take my word for it :D

It's called Plan "B", roll with it. It's leading you somewhere; a journey. Good luck.
