Right there with you in the kitchen, MCM. That's what I do, too:-)

MO_Thoughts2 says,

I'm baking ..... and I took this with a different twist. I envisioned New Orleans style beans and rice being cooked in Michigan .... far far away from the New Orleans ongoing celebration of Mardi Gras.

MotorCityMich says,

Sounds good, MO, though in this case it's turkey bolognese. It's a new recipe, and it's delicious!

Dragonflower says,

That looks so delicious. I always like the memoirs that include a picture of someone cooking on their stove or oven! Makes me feel at home, loved.!

MotorCityMich says,

I just tried the recipe. A friend of mine gave it to me, and I'm so glad she did. Hubs and I both loved it! And the turkey made it a bit lighter than if it had been beef or sausage. Delish!

jl333 says,

Is there pasta to go with that? Looks scrumptious.

BanjoDan says,

That looks delish!

MotorCityMich says,

Yes, we put it over linguini and it was really yummy. Hubs wasn't sure he'd like it since it was turkey instead of beef, but we both loved it. My friend said it could go over rice too, but I am sure I'd prefer pasta.

jl333 says,

Be right over...

MotorCityMich says,

Any time! This makes noodles, so I could feed lots of sixers!

MotorCityMich says,

*oodles. Stupid autocorrect.
