Backstory
The memoir students are reading A Moveable Feast right now, and they don't know how to talk about it. Even they said they don't know how to talk about it. I asked, "We don't know we are recording history when we are living it. So what does Hemingway's memoir capture about Paris? About the time? About his friends and contemporaries? About himself?" (hmmmm)I think we were the lost generation.
