I live in the only beachside suburb in Sydney that's has a train station within easy walking distance. It means crowds in summer and I'm not a fan of the heat OR the crowds.
I have such a hard time with February being "summer"...snow, ice, and wind prevail here in northeastern US. But please....tell me a story about the beach, so I can be cheered. :)

Same here AT. Freezing cold in NY. My favorite part of summer is the no school part. :)
