Hi Banjo! This reminded me of the time, as a child, when I would catch my late maternal grandmother, an immigrant form Italy, reading, or pretending to read, the English newspaper upside-down!
When I politely pointed to an accompanying upside-down foto, she became annoyed & quickly set the paper straight & continued to 'read'. She was illiterate in both her native Italian & adopted English, yet she managed to put me through university....
