Not stronger. Must be killing me.

illuminatrix says,

This is pretty smooth. Luckily, just by realizing that it's killing you more than making you stronger, the tides will now begin to shift. Awareness breeds a larger degree of control.

ShellDeFelice says,

Painfully beautiful. Illuminatrix is enlightened. You DDbytheC, are a beautiful warrior soul on a journey that would crush and destroy most of us. I detest an uphill climb on my bike...I'm such a squirrel, I get to tipover speed way before the summit. I bet you don't, and I bet you'll catch your breath soon. Keep breathing. xoxo

ba_miracle says,

One of my least favorite sayings. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
Just considering your circumstance is overwhelming. Your own conquering of cancer is overshadowed.
You are already stronger than any person needs to be and a true inspiration to those who love.
I wish you both more good days.

Dragonflower says,

Yes, I agree with ba_miracle on that saying. By now I should be like charles atlas or something. But I'm not. I have never felt so helpless in my life. And so sad. And angry. And sometimes, for a moment or two, peaceful. For us, it is going to end soon, which is so very hard to say. That is why the peace only lasts a moment.

Wishing you more strength, more courage, more acceptance. Knowing in my heart that everything you need will be provided as soon as you need it. You are loved and protected by grace. Good thoughts to you, always.

jl333 says,

In my books, especially with what you've been through, you give the word strong a new meaning

lillybrook says,

DDC - ba_miracle is right; this phrase sucks. BUT the way you turned it on its ear is fantastic. Sometimes we are strong enough, and still we have to survive impossible things. You are so strong. I wish I could send you a sunspot of joy from the frozen tundra of Minnesota, and that you would feel how I see you -- you are beyond amazing. You will survive, even this. You will.
