Backstory

This morning as snow began to fall a squirrel came to the back porch – as he does every day – to gather food. He did not let the snow interfere with his work as he dug through to the seeds below. At one point he curled up in the bowl as if to rest – the snow clung to his fur and began to cover him. After a few moments he was back up, the snow flicked away as he scurried about. How often do we let a setback or seemingly insurmountable problem stop us from trying to meet our objectives. How often do we give up when we can’t see the seeds that are just a few inches below the snow?
