Dean6805 says,

In ASL, there's a sign that looks like you're forming a box around your ear with your hands. It's a sign that basically says, "All you see is my ears. What about the rest of me?!" I most often see it used in reference to the medical community.

StephanieTor says,

I believe it. Went to have a physical yesterday... never happened because of an insurance problem. Had a regular office visit in which I had to ask for a test and learned I'm having a reoccurring infection. Some of the staff treated me like I was invisible. "Did she eat this morning?" It's pathetic.
