Speech to speech app... talking, right?

Backstory

Miracle reminded me of something my highly technological but also sensible daughter pointed out last night....a new app that turns speech to speech. As she pointed out, isn't that just talking on the phone?

Maybe it can translate between women and men... or northerners and southerners... or Democrats and Republicans.

I have one called dragon ... Speech to text.

accidentaltourist says,

I know a few people who use the speech to text app...and get frustrated because it doesn't send the right messages.

They have an app to translate languages but I think you're asking waaay too much Dean.

I had/have Dragon. When it first came out (12+ years ago) training the program was tedious. The last version I bought (5 years ago) was much improved. After reading MLK - I Have a Dream and JKF Ask Not (also where he talks about his plans for us landing on the moon) The program was fairly trained and I was amazed. I think some versions of word have talk to text built in, mine does. When I got my new phone it does the speech to text thingy fairly well with no training or at least I am being trained by it more quickly this go around.

Typing is often painful even just minuets in so I have been a long time fan.
