oh but we're having so much fun getting there (not!)

ctgoods2 says,

I truly hope you get to count really, really high.

jl333 says,

Hopefully it's less than 10 years ctgoods2. I'm told by the doctor that,as of last year, that I'm in the perimenopausal stage. I can hardly wait for it to end and be able to finally not be so emotional over every little thing.

canadafreeze says,

One of my first memoirs was: menopause: complex sentence with no periods. And yes, it is a very complex time - don't count on your emotions toning down. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you need to know:-) have a chocolate.

jl333 says,

Ah, I remember your memoir very clearly! Thanks for the heads up.

marymc says,

I started perimenopause at 39. In 3 months I'll be 50. I am seriously ready for the whole damn thing to be over. No end in sight.

ctgoods2 says,

Oy - i feel ya. Did a memoir too: neither terminal nor contagious. Merely menopause.
I was trying to come to terms with it two years ago. Its still kicking me arse. Hang in there.

jl333 says,

Me too marymc...
Ctgoods2--didn't you do a story about it in your blog?

ctgoods2 says,

yeah - had a sense of humor about it then.
