Dragonflower says,

Oh dear. Please stay safe. Calming thoughts to you.

It's wet down here at the moment, too. Sure makes a nice change from that 46*C all-time record temperature we survived the other day!

butterflyxxx says,

Thanks A22, we are on a hill, bunkered down, with high winds and driving rain all day, but thankfully not in flood danger. There were massive floods here 2 years ago and much destruction. Lots of road closures at the moment and trees falling over. Sag 46deg is just too hot. The worst I remember here was about 41. Everyone threatened to leave work when the mercury hit 40.

Dragonflower says,

We had that kind of weather in 2011, with flooding and big wind. I hated it. Thinking of it is giving me stomach ache. Hope all the Australian weather calms down soon. Take care.
