Never been a lover of winter sports. Skiing involves two of my least favorite things: falling down and being cold. But I'll be glad to meet you in the lodge with hot beverages and a smile.
Yes, and feet dangling was one of my "not me" answers to the infamous Believe question. Ski lifts would do me in. Well, someone has to be waiting back at the lodge, don't they?? That's my role....I'm not a not-fun person, I'm just know what I like to do (and what I don't). I dream of going to a ski resort and sitting by the fire (and not getting abandoned by a ski loving, adreneline junkie, everyone-has-to-love-what-I-love companion). Oops, my issues are showing.....OK,onward.....
Pouring the drinks now....my those are cute outfits, you two....you look great, love the Uggs with fishnets. Isn't the fire nice? ......
An old boyfriend actually abandoned me after he had stopped to pick me up one too many times (albeit it was on a green slope). I finally took off my skis and walked down the hill. I eventually did learn to ski after that but not with his help.
I'm all about fuzzy sweaters and curve hugging leggings....drinks by the fire....stories and laughs and games. I've got Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit. Autumn22, I love how you coordinated your leg warmers with your scarf!
I grew up on the slopes, so to speak, or at least very near them. I quickly learned that the lodge was the place to be ... With matching après ski and attitude.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...

Three of my least favorite things: falling down, being cold and heights. Make that four: propelling myself at high speeds.accidentaltourist says,
Eek...I left out heights, such as ski lifts (omg, I'd puke). Meet me in the lodge, we'll have drinks.Dragonflower says,

Yes, that's me, coordinated colors...Thank you! These leg warmers are vintage, original vintage, I might add. I just KNEW they'd come back in style.
