Even candles have a fashion season.
Backstory
It is only January. I still need some winterish clothes, shoes and all that's in the stores are leftovers. That's OK, I thought ahead for most part and so I am basically set, just wanted some new warm tops, maybe flannel pjs. I did get a terrific pair of boots for a great price. But then I went to buy some more little candles in this wonderful, cozy, warm scent that I got in December, and what did they have? Coconut, tropical mango, ocean breeze...all summerish scents. They showed me a sad table with the few leftover "last season" scented candles.
Made me both wistful for summer and sad that winter is on a table in a corner. I know how cold some of you have winter. Do your stores push the next season too? Sorry this question is northern hemisphere specific. The downunder folks can just flip it if you care to comment.

Let me say this: the week after Christmas I was in a local store and noticed that the wrapping paper was already at 70% off. I bought two packages, which will probably last me three years. But the salesgirl just had to tell me that everything was going because the summer stuff was coming in on the next truck.
