Dreamed six words. Lost them all.

Backstory

This has been happening nearly every night lately. I'll come up with a six-word memoir while I'm sleeping but as soon as I wake up, it's gone. It's driving me crazy, because I awake with the feeling that some of them are good- they're REALLY Dean deep down. Of course, they might be dreck, but the feeling is still there. Ugh.

I do that all the time, too:-)

catsmeow says,

I dream entire novel plots at night, and they're brilliant. Of course I don't remember them in the morning and it's entirely possible I just dreamed that I wrote them and didn't actually have the next Great American Novel in my head. But it does drive me crazy.

accidentaltourist says,

I have dreamed great story lines, thinking they will be perfect novels...and then I try to sketch out the details, and I realize it's crap. True story.

But Dean I am sure yours are brilliant.

catsmeow says,

Undoubtedly, AT.

Knoxena says,

That happens to me alot. I come up with a good sixer and no paper to write it and I connot remember it.

Loon says,

shakespeare dreams, white trash reality....been there

Dean6805 says,

To need to turn that into a Six, Loon.

maryjane31 says,

Keep a pencil and paper next to bed.

lillybrook says,

Just there, out of your reach. Creative frustration! maryjane31 is right; sounds like you need a bedside notepad.

JAD says,

We all lose our memoirs from time to time. I try to keep pen and note pad too.

oopsalittle says,

I hate when that happens!
