Backstory
That's exactly what I had in mind too. So imagine my disappointment when she handed me a stack of receipts that needed to be tallied up. On any other day, that would be fun to me (that's my nerdy side). It's hard to understand people these days. I once had one of my guy friends send me a text saying, "Hey, I told you I'd hit you up. Let's hangout tonight." Me, I was thinking we were going to spend some time together as friends...but no. That was his unromantic way of asking me out on a date. And to feed your curiosity, there wasn't a second "date".
