Oh Lordy, I have a terrible book-collecting fetish, so I respect bookcases like you wouldn't believe. I've moved internationally a few times, and books were like the biggest burden. But I love to hate them. Who am I kidding, I could never hate them. I just accrued a massive collection of ebooks to supplement the paper. So now I have a real bookcase, and a virtual one. Both have a very important job. (I still like the wooden bookcase better.)
