Little Man needs a play kitchen.
Backstory
When I'm in the kitchen cooking or washing dishes, he always goes to the same cabinet, pulls out the pots, pans and his plates and bowls and plays with them. Then - he *puts them back*.My dad made my niece a beautiful wooden play kitchen. My sister painted it. They stocked it with fake fruits and veggies and real, tiny little pots and cast iron frying pans. I'm not a big fan of big plastic toys, although I know some of them are an inevitability.
I really want to make him a his own kitchen set though. That would be awesome.

Sweet Pea has had her own kitchen since she could stand up, and she's loved it since. I played with certain pots and pans in my grandma's kitchen when I was a tot. Cooking is creating, so I say go for it!marymc says,
I wanted a tool bench. I got a toy vacuum and ironing board. To this day, I hate vacuuming and ironing. But tools? oh.... my heaven.Undermom says,
Can your dad make another?I have the wooden play kitchen my dad made for me 50 years ago. My granddaughters were here playing with it this Christmas. They never met my dad, but there he is in their lives, anyway. Wonderfullness.
