Are you sure? I find the other side to be the fearful ones - violent crime is down over the last 20 years. Gun laws are about as effective as drug laws at keeping weapons away from criminals but that doesn't stop the fearful from demanding "action". If the 2nd amendment doesn't apply to Armalite Rifles - that's what the AR really stands for btw, then the 1st Amendment only applies to printed newspapers and religions that existed in 1776 (tough luck Mormons and non-denominational churches).
