Loon, that was our family method of cooking. We always had to have gravy to overcome the dryness. I never liked gravy, so I thought dry was how it was supposed to be. Imagine my surprise when I first had tender meat, chicken, roast. I thought serrated steak knives were a standard place setting utensil for every meal.
