Backstory
After 2 years of no vacation, we are taking 1 week. SIL was to take our dogs. We leave Thursday. She agreed, but today she calls bitching about it. Hubby takes their folks to FL every year. Gets them set up with home nursing care. Fills their fridge. Visits them mid winter and brings them home. We see them many times a week when they are here in NY (SIL live less than 5 miles away). We bring dinner. We watch Jeopardy together. I paint their house. Hubby pays to send her kids to camp. I take her daughter to concerts. I take her son to the NYS fair. We took her son to NYC. I did all the decorations for her kids bar/bat mitzvahs. We asked for a favor for one damn week.
