Long shadows sweeping me forward. Patience.

Backstory

Inspired by e.towhee's questions about what's wrong, what's right, with January. The shadows move over the snow, and I think about the days stretching forward into what will be...I am eager, but I bide my time. It will come. I believe it.

Love the visual - very nice...

maryjane31 says,

I just love this. Beautiful picture.

accidentaltourist says,

Thanks, and maryjane, if I have to sit through a long cold winter, at least I have this view out my front window to carry me through.

canadafreeze says,

Your view is very similar to what I looked at every day before we moved back to town. I miss it, the birds, and seeing the sky without ambient light ... Enjoy its beauty, as I'm sure you do:-)

accidentaltourist says,

I do indeed. For all the difficulties, I would find it very hard to leave this place.

Staraj says,

Nature is a powerful force. Witness Hurricane Sandy. But it also has power to heal. Witness your view. Amazing how an outside view can affect our "inside view".
