Insomniac turned armchair philosopher this morning.
Backstory
I spent the night tossing and turning. Performance anxiety, I am guessing. Another year begins. So, after washing laundry, doing dishes, organizing counters and still not sleeping, I came here. This is not a place to come if you want to fall asleep -- there are so many amazing stories, from 6 words to 6+backstory. I was reminded of so many things I knew but needed to remember and learned a few things I didn't. This site is very good for my heart, soul, and mind, but not very good for getting back to bed.Good morning, everyone!

Congratulations on featured backstory! I was thinking the other day how this is the first Christmas season I have felt like part of a family or large group of friends. It made it so enjoyable for me.Same for sharing the shock and sadness of Connecticut. It helped to read others thoughts and to find something to do (snowflake project).
