I favorited this, but have to comment. Great image in a digital age. I can imagine future readers asking what's a pencil?? It gives me a sense of peace and also eagerness for the new year.
Also liked the comment about You've got mail, lilybrook. I gave a coworker a "bouquet of newly sharpened pencils" once because we were both huge fans of the movie and we would quote lines and laugh.
