One year. One thought. Every day.

Backstory

Rather than always feeling as though I have to keep a long journal, I'm going to try to record one thought - be it sentence, word, phrase, poem, memory, etc. - per day.

I have 5 entries from when I first had this idea two years ago. 6 days into the new year I was hospitalized and the journal remained empty.

This year, I will have 365 entries. And they will be wonderful. Or horrible. But they will all exist.

Great idea -- here's to 365 entries on Jan 1 2014! And if not, don't give up; even if you miss a day or a week, begin again.

Thanks for the support! I didn't think my "middle of the night" inspiration would become so popular!

I do plan on following through with it though and I'll let keep everyone posted on how it goes.

Dragonflower says,

I started writing a poem a day last year. It was interesting to me how it sort o weaved together to make a story of my life. I had days where I didn't write though. So the advice is good to not feel bad if you don't write every day.

I admire your dedication. Hope it is going well.
