This same thought occurred to me. I was watching with my daughter on a recent trip to New York. I have always been a Phantom fan. It wasn't until watching it with her that I even considered that Christine to ably made the right choice. Maybe it's that natural instinct to want your children to choose safety.
I find the idea of the Phantom more... mysterious/sensual/exotic. In a world where the only thing that matters is sex, it would be the Phantom. No questions asked. Alas, there's all that other stuff, too, that very normal, boring stuff that comprises *most* of life, and I think he'd be a little bit difficult to deal with. Too much of a drama queen and way too possessive and self-absorbed.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...
