Backstory
Ever feel like Christmas sneaks up on you? Why are we always surprised by it...it comes on exactly the same date every year.Where I live, it is the morning of the day before Christmas Eve, and the news media is full of last-minute shopping tips and holiday dos and don'ts. But this morning as I am racing the clock to finish the last of my homemade gifts (hopefully!), I am thinking about family and friends on the other side of the globe who have already edged much closer to the magical moment of Christmas.
