Beautifully wrapped, the cardinal symbolizes Christmas.

Backstory

Seeing a ruby red cardinal perched outside of my window this afternoon I couldn't help but smile at the unexpected glimpse of his beauty.

The Legend of the cardinal at Christmas:

The cardinal was christened the “Christmas Bird” for its spectacular red color. Legend proclaims that the cardinal is an outward symbol of beauty and warmth of the holiday season because a glimpse of this brilliant bird brings cheer, hope and inspiration on a gray winters day.
For those of Christian faiths, the cardinal is considered nature’s reminder for us to focus on our faith; with its scarlet plumage representing the blood that Christ shed for the redemption of mankind.
