I'm not a violent person by nature, but I'd love to get my hands on the #$%@ who are scamming people by pretending to be charities benefiting Newtown. This ain't one of them. Money won't repair broken hearts. But for those still walking around in a daze, it helps manage affairs in disarray. Count me in.https://newtown.uwwesternct.org/

Somehow missed this memoir first time around, and then it was brought to my attention by L2L3. I'll make snowflakes first thing in the morning. They'll be in the mail this week! I think your idea of the snowflakes is awesome, and I hope you have more than enough! It's the least we as a community can do. Thanks TawnyPort for allowing us to somehow do something for the children.jl333 says,

This has been rattling for many of us, but to be so close and to decide to add beauty in this situation full of pain -- thank you for this memoir, the invitation to contribute. We're cutting out snowflakes today!KharisJo says,

Just got back from the post office. Suddenly struck by what an overwhelming task this is and I started to cry. I can't imagine being so little and being scared to go to school - one place you should always feel safe. God bless the people who are trying to help these children heal.
