Winter is my least favorite season, but I have come to appreciate the beauty and neccessity of it over the years. I read something a while ago that said it was the busiest season, nature-wise. All the flowers and bulbs, and trees and shrubs all resting and then getting ready for their grand re-entrance at Spring. We just can't see all the activity. Nature's biggest surprise party is Spring; thanks to Winter's behind-the-scenes prep. Nice memoir!
It's OK to be biased. Winter needs all the biased people it can get! Somewhere along in February, people start counting down to when it's over (me the most!!). No other season gets that kind of treatment. Yay for you for liking Winter and all it offers.
@Autumn: Yay indeed! I'm a winter gal and proud of it!
@Dhani: Not right out of the oven, but close enough. Somewhere in the middle of spring and summer.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...

Thanks Autumn :) It can be hard to appreciate winter, but without it, the spring would never occur. Mind you, I kind of like snow sonI may be bias!Tenacious_Badger11 says,
